Do you remember going to your first network marketing presentation and being told that the company in question had an easy duplicatable system? Do you also remember being told how easy it would be to give out this DVD or CD to your family, friends and neighbors?

As most of us should know by now there is no such thing as an easy duplicatable system. It looks good on paper but in reality there is only one problem. That problem is people. People do not just fall in line and join our company's. It's been my experience that the people who I recruit that are sold on the hype do not last long. They look at network marketing as some lottery ticket. It takes hard work in any business especially network marketing to make things happen.

So what does all this have to do with making MLM easier? The hard way of growing your network marketing business is doing what I used to do. I used to chase prospects down and try to follow up with people who were too nice to say they weren't interested. I used to cold call prospects and get hung up on, yelled at, and I had to endure massive rejection. I used to set appointments only to be stood up, I used to sell memberships only to have to endure chargebacks. I used to spend a lot of time training my new recruits only to have them drop out of the business and not duplicate. I used to spend way more than I made in commissions each month, it was a year and a half before I cold break even.

There definately was nothing easy about network marketing.

It wasn't until I was running out of money that I decided to give it one more chance. I started learning easier ways to build my business. I had grown to the point by this time that I could talk to people. That wasn't my problem. My problem was finding prospects to talk to. You see, I had a day job. My dream of an easy successful victory was not playing out like I had envisioned, so I had to keep my job. I only had so much time after work to prospect. I needed to somehow leverage my time and generate prospects during the day so I could follow up at night. This problem led me to do research online and to find out what other successful network marketers were doing. I didn't want to change company's, I wanted to learn how to market better. I wanted to learn how to generate my own targeted prospects online.

Once I started learning how to market and advertise online I started generating prospects who would call me first because they wanted to know what I was doing. I was flat out excited.

It was around this time that I found there was an easier way to building my network marketing business. It was using the power of technology to help do it. Don't get me wrong, I still had to be involved in the process. I had to invest the time and money to try online marketing strategies and I still had to call prospects. However, my business was becoming less stressful and the best part was I was making money passively and with less rejection. Online network marketing is truly the easier way to build your network marketing business.
